Support in pregnancy

**Please note, I’m currently not attending births as I honour my own season of mothering. My support during this time focuses on helping you prepare for your labour, birth, and postpartum experience with your care team and setting of choice**

Pregnancy can be full of magic, mystery, and excitement… but let’s be real, it can also be brutally tough, confusing and overwhelming.

Pregnancy is a wild ride of emotions, symptoms, decisions, and big shifts. That first trimester (and beyond, for many!) - phew. There’s often so much to navigate: choices, options, opinions... all while your body is growing, stretching, and expanding in ways you’ve never experienced before (or experiencing once again).

That’s where a doula comes in.

My role is to walk alongside you during pregnancy - offering guidance, information, companionship and compassion, so you can tune into what feels right for you and your baby and prepare for birth and postpartum in a way that feels informed, supported, and aligned with your instincts, values, birth philosophy and aspirations.

My practice is rooted in a person-centred, trauma-sensitive approach that honours the wisdom of your body, supports your rights and capacity for choice, and draws on the power of aligned, compassionate support.

I hold a deep trust in the physiology and innate wisdom of the body, and in your ability to move through birth and beyond connected to your intuition and instincts.
