Birth Processing

Every birth story deserves to be heard and held.

Birth is often described as a transformative and joyful experience - but for many, it can also be deeply overwhelming

In Australia, 1 in 3 birthing people describe their birth as traumatic. How you birth your baby can have deep and lasting effects, shaping your relationship with yourself, your baby, your loved ones, and the way you experience motherhood and the world around you.

Whether the impacts originated from unexpected or unwanted interventions, a loss of control, feeling unheard or unsupported, experiencing obstetric violence and disrespect, physical injury, or fear for the safety of you and/or your baby's wellbeing (or something else entirely), your experience is real and worthy of tender support and compassionate witnessing.

Whether your birth was recent or many years ago, it’s never too late to heal. You deserve to feel safe, supported, and connected again - in your body, your story, your mothering and your life.
